Routine Dental Treatments
At myFACE all routine dental procedures are performed with minimal discomfort in private comfortable surroundings. All treatments will be explained in full and alternative treatment options given.
Part of your routine dental treatment visit will be identifying why the problem occured and explaining how to avoid it, or reduce the risk of it happening again.
Some treatments may require more than one visit to complete. During longer treatments you can relax and catch a movie with our DVD glasses.
It is essential that your teeth and gums are in the best possible health before more complex procedures are undertaken.
In order to achieve this myFACE my carry out some preliminary procedures to stabilise/eliminate any active disease processes. As part of this, we will review the health of your gums. It is vital that your gums are pink and firm, before, during, and after any complex procedure. Gums that are red and swollen are a sign of disease, and if they bleed on brushing or when probed, we will advise you on the action needed to achieve, and maintain the health of your gums. The long-term stability of your treatment is dependent on you following this advice meticulously. Failure to achieve healthy gums may mean that you cannot proceed with your other treatment.
Following your dental treatment it is very important that you take good care of your teeth to ensure many trouble free years of smiling.
